The 6th Annual Dumpling Week is happening in just a few days! From February 1st through the 8th, we are joining with select group of Portland restaurants to offer a special dumpling for this week only. Chef Scott Shampine created a truly remarkable dumpling for the Dumpling Week. His Lobster Shumai Dumplings with Scotch Ponzu are a unique twist on a classic Chinese steamed dumpling.
These dumplings are a delight, and should not be missed! Be sure to stop in between February 1st through the 8th to try this special creation.
Browne Family Vineyards at Pullman Wine Bar
Located at the base of the Hotel Eastlund – right below Altabira – Pullman is an intimate and stylish wine bar and retail shop, with over 135 Pacific Northwest and international wines available by the glass, bottle, and case.
Pullman will be hosting a free tasting on Thursday, February 20th, from 5:30-7pm. The tasting will feature wines from the Browne Family Vineyards portfolio. Based in Columbia Valley, WA, Browne is known for big, bold reds, and award-winning wines.
This tasting will feature the following wines:
–2016 Tribute Red Blend: A Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, & Cabernet Franc- a perfect wine for food pairing.
–2013 Petit Verdot: 100% Petit Verdot, with black plum & smoke aromas, and a lovely tannin structure.
–2013 Malbec: 100% Malbec, with bursting blackberry notes
There is no fee for the tasting, so bring a friend and come try some fabulous wines from Browne Family Vineyards!
