Ninkasi Beer | Altabira Fall Beer Dinner series

Please join us on September 20th for the first of our 2017 Fall Beer Dinner series. It’s a series of fun, inventive beer dinners that we’re cooking with some of the best craft brewers from around our state. On tap is a four-course gastropub style menu, specially created by our chef de cuisine, Luis Escorcia. Luis’ menu will be paired with many of the seasonal craft brews being produced this month by our guest brewmaster. See Luis’ amazing menu below.

Starter Course

Corn and Summer Squash, Aleppo Chili, Cheddar & Beer Biscuit

Paired with Dawn of The Red

Dawn of The Red: Bursting with tropical notes, this Red IPA captures the bright complexity of El Dorado and Mosaic hops. An assertive hop presence is carried by a subtle caramel backbone, unearthing a beer that is flavorful and juicy.

Second Course

Soft Shell Crab French Toast, Tomatoes, Basil Oil, Microgreens

Paired with Pacific Rain

Fiercely flavorful and refreshingly drinkable, Pacific Rain is your call to experience the Pacific Northwest. Crafted with water from Oregon’s McKenzie River and a band of four distinguished hops, this Northwest Pale is citrusy, crisp and tailor-made for easy drinking.

Main Course

Beer Braised Short Rib, Purple Potatoes, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Maitake Mushrooms

Paired with Oktoberfest

Crafted with Oregon-grown hops, this Oktoberfest marries Northwest ingredients with a traditional German style. Celebrating the harvest, this light-bodied beer has a toasty malt bouquet and just a touch of hop bitterness. Prost!


Peach Tartan with Vanilla Oatmeal Stout Ice Cream & Huckleberry Syrup

Paired with Oatmeal Stout

A divine blend of vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt notes swirl together to create a smooth Oatmeal Stout with a crisp finish. The true signature of this beer comes from the addition of whole vanilla beans to the final stage of conditioning—the same process we use to dry hop a beer. Slightly sweet with a rich complexity, Vanilla Oatis is decadent and delicious.
